Danielle McKay Profita

I’m a junior in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications at The University of Georgia. I am majoring in Magazine Journalism and Geography, while also completing a New Media Certificate. Currently, I am a contributing editor and writer for the student-run publication, UGAzine and a writer for the national newspaper, The Odyssey. This year, I also became a writer for the international publication, The Tab. Over the summer, I had the opportunity to travel to five countries in six weeks, and study abroad in Innsbruck, Austria, where I took two classes. One, travel writing, and the other, international film as literary art. This experience introduced me to a variety of writing styles, sparked my interest in blogging, and inspired the growth of my interests in traveling and photography.
